Slippery Steps and Flooding Bus-stops

incredible. our school has wonderful facilities. comfy meeting rooms, pretty gardens, educational ponds, Olympic-worthy tracks, an inspiring art centre and many other wonderful places.

yet, ironically, students and teachers get drenched along passageways, immerse their shoes in muddy water when trying to reach the bus-stop and struggle to maintain their balance on steps that are slippery. thank god our lifts ain't flooded.

a recount of how i went home.

on the third floor, i patiently waited for 4 different lifts. each opened with a bunch of sniggering boys who were gloating that they were in the lift while i wasnt. gentlemanly indeed. so i took the stairs down. in doing so, i realised that the school need not build a cascading waterfall. they could have just used the steps. water was literally flowing down the steps like a spring would flow down a mountain. kind people warned of massive puddles at each landing while tightly gripping on to the railing, praying silently that they would not slip and land in a pool of rainwater.

safely arriving at the ground floor, and exiting the school gate with no obstacles...yet another waterfall stood in my way. the below (lousy) illustration attempts desperately to depict the situation.

okay, i supposed they TRIED to remedy the situation. they built a shelter leading from the school gate to the bus-stop. but i think they forgot that the floor still floods. ask the girl who laughed when i stood on the other side of the river that separated the two of us. any step i take would involve submerging my entire foot in muddy water that was as high as my ankle.

one foot i plunged into the muddy water, the other (unglam-ly) leapt to the concrete step of the bus-stop. the girl laughed even louder. so nice of you.

with my trusty umbrella, i started walking toward the bus-stop on the other side of the road. would it be a surprise if i said that the pavement at the traffic was also flooded? as i stood waiting for the traffic light to turn green, a few *inconsiderate* @#$!@# drivers drove by at high speeds, causing a column of water to spray across any unfortunate pedestrians standing on the pavement. and that happens to be me. i swear i heard the girl at the bus-stop laughing her head off.

the rest of the journey home was considered safe and uneventful, unless you count being squashed in the MRT as perilous.

okay, nice graphics. great soundtrack. good seiyuus. but storyline? *gawks* not that the plot was hard to follow, but there were too many things left unanswered at the end of it...OTL it had so much potential...sigh. no wonder it got bashed so badly at reviews and ratings. and the main character arh...aiyoh...lol. makes me miss Ashitaka. oh well. shall try Sky Crawlers next. at least there'll be better battle scenes. =P

buzz off people.

go get a hotel room or find your own little hole to PDA in. the general population has just as much right as you to that space in our cluttered school. but simply because you're fine with PDA-ing does not mean that we are. for your information, if you hadn't already known, it makes other people (that means anyone outside of the couple) ~~extremely irritated~~ incredibly uncomfortable.

baby talk especially makes people want to smack you with the heaviest object they have in their possession. next worst on the list is whining.

it doesn't mean that being attached means you have to be literally and physically attached to your other half for the majority of your waking hours. for one, looking like a lost puppy when your other half's not around is ~~extremely~~ pathetic. it gets worse when you abandon the friends who accompany you once your other half is back. it seems as though your friends are merely spare tires for your convenience. you may not mean it, but it sure feels/seems that way.

being in a relationship does not mean you have spend all your time and attention on your other half. i know many a couple who are perfectly blissful even though they don't stick to each other like a fish and its water. i also know couples who manage to communicate without using a single word of baby talk. their communication is far more successful, i do believe. and there are plenty of ways to show your affection for each other without PDA-ing.

by the way, friends do know when to make themselves scarce. if you want solidarity, by all means ask and it will be given. for heaven's sake, friends DO NOT FREAKING want to be lampposts. they feel uncomfortable as lampposts. they'd even thank you for liberating them from your PDA session. so no, letting your friend walk alone is not a sign of abandonment, it is liberation. oh, if there happens to be mis-communication, i wonder if it's because you're too preoccupied with your other half.

I'd rather walk alone then spend my time with two lovebirds who only have eyes/time/attention for the other half. I'm not that desperate. neither do i want to be a spare tire.

my dear laogong would probably say I'm a bitter old woman again, but I'm sure she'd agree with most of the points (most of them were from her to begin with =P). right laogong? ^^

Sebastian or Lockon?

Current Status: Major dilemma

I wanted to name my new metal bow Lockon, so I picked the green colour for its coating. but Murphy's Law kicks in, and the green colour coating looks like (Jack Neo's) Liang Ximei's gaudy green and black shirt. so I decided to take the solid black bow instead. then again, the more i look at the pictures, the more i think i should name the bow Sebastian, after the Black Butler in Kuroshitsuji. crap.

on one hand, the bow's sleek, shiny black coating begs me to name it Sebastian. on the other hand, Lockon is a sharpshooter-ish person, and it's more adept for a bow. plus point: if i name the bow Lockon, i can name my arrows Haros, which actually sound pretty...tempting. imagine what the scenario would be like during scoring...*guffaws*

then again, my dear uncle Fabius said to name my bow Char Siu. quoting him, it's perfect in so many ways. "Char" is like...poke, describing the way that the arrows stab into the target board. "Siu" is my surname, so my bow has my surname (=_=) and "Char Siew" happens to be a dish that goes with my name in Cantonese, roasted pork...dang.

so therefore in conclusion, i shall christen my bow "Sebastian Lockon Char Siu"

okaaay very belated post but yupps, the following are the cakes i had for my "birthday" season. lolz~ all these cakes in a matter of 3 days! zomg.

First up! the birthday cake on the combined birthday dinner on the 17th of Jan. i henceforth entitle this cake: The-Uncle-Fabs-amazingly-sweet-caramel-with-wonderfully-rich-chocolate-and-nice-crunchy-bits-added-cake!

*nods* it's diabetically sweet. trust me XD the cake is from....eh i forgot =X i'll wait for uncle fabs to supply the nicer photos, that will prob have the name of the shop XD

my slice of my birthday cake. XD see the CARAMEL oozing from the centre?

not my birthday cake, but something sweet enough to murder. Creme brule from my granduncle's wedding anniversary on the 18th of Jan. the "pudding" part was delicious, the caramel layer was murderous and the ice-cream was the best part of it all. i could hardly finish half of it...lolz

a birthday cake delivered via "air-mail". the mint cake from Angie's Choice. the cake is so fluffy~ and the cream is deliciously non-sweet! XDDD

the cake i had in school on the 19th of Jan. so nice of Jasmine to remember that i hated cream XD it's more like a pie but i aint complianing. =P

i spent a whole afternoon staring at people running into each other and whacking each other with balls. this year's orientation is something to look forward to i guess...at least there's a HINT of yaoi in the storyline (but i think it'll be censored)

Tantei Gakuen Q (Drama) & Kin Iro La Corda

started at 9am, ended at 12.30am. but yupps, i finished the whole drama in a day ^^ the storyline more or less follows the manga, so it's pretty easy to follow. i'd say overall it ain't a bad show, but as usual, i have a few...rants.

what did they do to my bishies~~~*screams in agony* my favourite Cerberus became a...a...snorting ji-ji! OTL he goes "hmmmph" with this chee-ko-pek look at every chance he has...noooooooo *dies* and and and...Nanami...oh what have they done...do they enjoy taking bishies and ruining their images? OTL oh wells. at least Amakusa Ryuu is really loli-shouta~ though i have to say his acting is a tad bit stiff, but still...loads to expect from him huh, he has a really bishie face, that Yamada Ryosuke XDDD Kazuma and Q's actors are not too bad either. trust me, it's just my bishies. OTL.

not bad a story (since they storyline follows the manga rather closely), not too bad a cast either. but i think people who do not follow the manga may find it rather hard to follow the series at first? seems as though they didn't explain quite a bunch of stuff. *shrugs* doesnt really take too long to finish either, i did it in a day ^^

Kin Iro La Corda is a good one. nice art, nice storyline (though i can't compare it to the manga yet) and a good seiyuu cast XD oh, did i mention the bishie heaven? XD yupps, filled with bishies from start to finish~ (and i include the opening and ending themes) XD oh but wait, as with every good news comes bad news...

haiz, Kazuki-sempai is voice by...none other than the seiyuu of Kurosaki Ichigo and Auel Neider, both of whom i kinda...detest OTL oh well, there goes happy bubble... *poof*!

but someone's coming back today~ woohoo~ that makes my day~ XDDDDD think i shall go poke random ppl for fun XDDDD

bad omens... bad omens...

bad start to the year = bad omens

sickening festive season this has been, most probably the worst i've ever had...OTL

let's just talk about New Year's Day.
my grand plan for the day was to clean up my room and get on with my revision. unfortunately, the former took up all my time till dinner. so, plan to study, busted.

at dinner, i was shocked to learn that i'll be checking into Ritz Carlton with Fabius. holy cow, is it just me or does that sound horribly wrong. best of all, my grandma said that. somebody please grab a knife and stab me now.

oh wait, the best part of all, i didnt know i'll be checking into Ritz Carlton. until they mentioned it. and apparently, i'll be staying overnight. wow. guess what, i have no idea where in Singapore Ritz Carlton is, nor do i know the check-in time, neither do i know the room size or even my "fellow occupants". hallelujah. talk about being the last to know everything and anything.

oh, and i realised one thing. people only talk to me when they want me to do something. when i start talking, they just leave the dinner table. and i mean when i'm in mid-sentence. holy cow.
i'll just grow into a bitter, mean old snapping baasan one day and you'll know why. laogong, i'll join you in at that coffee table snapping at people.

the one good thing today? my room smells of lavender. time to meditate. ommm.

PS: Xmas wasn't exactly great either. i hate to say this, but i think i miss school. i know, i have no life. don't tell me that already.

the trees at East Coast Park. went there at 6 in the morning to watch the sunrise. then cycled till our legs dropped off. and my sis crashed into 2 people. hilarious.

zomg, Chuka Ichiban (translation: Cooking Master Boy) has such a dark world for the culinary realm. there're special ways to chop up a cow, equivalent to the sword styles that Kenshin uses rofl. mugyuseiryuzan vs hiten mitsurugi ryu-kuzuryuzan. XD they even have a Mafia-like association that's hunting down the protagonist, Mao. lolz.

the story is set in ancient China, where the protagonist, Mao, hails from the province of Szechuan. XD after he's recognized by the Food Official (did they have such a rank in history? @@ i think there may be some truth after all...), he's sent to Hangzhou for training and to take the Special Chef qualification (Tokyuu Chuushin Shiken). of course, he gains the title of Tokyuu Chuushin, and from there he travels China for his training XD interesting eh.

while there may be corny moments like...Chun-li lookalikes holding fans and dancing around the word "Umai"(Delicious), or savoring the universe in a bowl of Ginza noodles etc. the main storyline is strong, even comparable to that of Slayers. considering that this anime is at least as old as Slam Dunk or even Ranma, the art style and storyline are both praiseworthy.

sure, it's old, it's cheesy, especially when the literal battle of the dragons start when the respective chefs unveil their dish, but... if Tezuka can wipe out the dinosaurs with his tennis strokes, i guess anything goes yar. =P

it's definitely worth a watch if you belong to the Akazukin Cha Cha era XD there's a fair share of irritating female lead character squeaking (but not as intolerable as Miaka) and your loser sidekick, or in this case disciple, but there's a fair share of bishies as well, only if you count...those gorrilla-like Caucasians in Prince of Tennis as bishies...*shrugs* there's one who's really a bishie, he kinda looks like Mikagami Tokiya from Rekka...but he kinda appears and disappeared. OTL not to mention there's this...guy who looks like he belongs to the gang of Naraku, Orochimaru and Itachi ...purple eyeshadow anyone? lolz best thing, he's a good guy, and the mentor of Mao. *all hail purple eyeshadow~*

CRAP ALERT~ you have been warned.

as a side note, i kinda figured out how Orochimaru died by the sword of Sasuke. you see, Oro-chan kinda did a baaaad thing. he snatched Naraku's purple eyeshadow. ^^ Naraku-chan got pretty pissed off when he realised that his last pallet of purple eyeshadow was missing. *cues thunder and lightning* *cues Naraku-chan swearing vengence on Oro-chan* Naraku-chan goes after Oro-chan and coveniently pops into the dimension in which Sasuke was battling Oro-chan in the "final battle" Naraku and his baboon obviously combined powers with Sasuke and together they beat Oro-chan. that was what Kabuto witnessed when Sasuke showed him the "final battle". just before Oro-chan breathed his last, he sent one of his little snakes to deliver the purple eyeshadow to none other than...ITACHI! (i am not going to incur the wrath of Itachi and Orochimaru fans, if the latter has any, by implying that the two are a couple) let's just say that Oro-chan had a deal with Itachi that he would give him the purple eyeshadow laced with erm...Sasuke's erm...sweat maybe? (Sasu x Ita fans? XD) rights, so Itachi gets the Sasu-sweat-laced-purple-eyeshadow. Sasu-chan, got pissed off with the fact that his aniki was into incest/yaoi that he went after Itachi with a roar. he finished off Itachi and took back the purple eyeshadow which he has been eyeing ever since Oro-chan got hold of it. (that was the reason why he killed Oro-chan in the first place XD) and so, we wait with bated breath, to see if Sasu-chan will one day don the purple eyeshadow ^^

a day of shopping

well, not exactly a day of shopping, since most of the day was spent travelling. maybe the title should be changed to a day of stuffing my face.

basically, the day started with me sleeping in. nice rainy morning, in addition to the fact that the party at my house last night ended late with me helping to clean up = reason to sleep in. managed to win the debate with my dad, which resulted in us skipping breakfast to sleep in somemore XD ended up falling asleep while talking to a friend...OTL woke up only at 12pm @@ lolz. then went out for Taiwan porridge at Goodwood Park Hotel with a couple of relatives.

after filling our tummies with a whole lot of porridge (it's free-flow btw, so you can imagine how much we ate), we walked towards Far East Plaza. here something amusing happened. i was chatting with my mum about some random stuff when we were walking out of the carpark, when suddenly, something crashed down onto our umbrella and my head. make a guess what crashed down. the barrier of the carpark gangtry. roflmao. farnie. once again proved that my skull is as thick as a coconut husk.

anw, we continued walking towards Tangs. there, they decided that Taiwan porridge and Durian crepes weren't filling enough so they went along as started eating cake. OTL

walked a little more and our relatives decided they had enough of Singapore's expensive stuff, so they drove back to Malaysia. then we decided to go chase after another group of relatives from the outback eventually found them at Vivocity after a long while in the car trying to find parking space at the impossibly crowded Vivocity.

after locating them, we shopped at...Giant ^^ managed to grab some Anime and J-Drama, then decided to come home to watch an incredibly gay show XD i think the english name is...Cooking Master Boy or something liddat. farnie and gay ^^ chiaoz, back to Naruto and Cooking Master Boy (must go find out the jap name, the eng name is a little hilarious)

bashed it once, got hooked onto it. bashed it a second time, got hooked again.prolly lost my mind edi. OTL

within a span of...say two days? i think i covered...89 (still counting) manga chapters worth of story. lol. nuts, never read a manga so fast in my life. even RAVE and Rekka no Honoo were read at a nice comfortable pace.

best thing about this manga? people double-cross then double-cross again until i get slightly confused as to whom they are double-crossing. spoilers here, but i don't think anyone would mind them =P. Sai, the dear replacement for "Sasuke-kun" was assigned to Team Kakashi. his apparent missions: a) to join hands with Orochimaru to destroy Konoha. b) to assassinate Sasuke. c) to save Sasuke. all, concurrently.

"..." *brain concussion* that is after i summarized kay, imagine trying to read that on your own. though I'm sure a particular someone won't have any problems with following the storyline *smacks* this one does.

next best thing about this manga? bishies drop dead like flies XD *poof* Yondaime the moment he appears *poof* Kimimaro *poof* Gaara nearly there *poof* Sasori *poof* Itachi *poof* Kakashi *poof* etc etc. man, they disappear faster than Naruto's Kage Bunshins. well at least they replenish the stock, only to kill them off again or place them in mortal danger. lolz, i'll get down to my roll-call of the dead once i'm done clearing the remaining chapters i have ^^.

that won't be too soon. and it'll take a while for me to clear the rest of the chapters ^^ i have roughly...119 more to go as of now ^^

PS manga's nicer than the anime. true, less colour but much less draggy, coz you go "click" and it's the next page already ^^ on the other hand, manga can be draggy to, contrary to popular belief.

discovery of the day. the curry bun we (all) love was invented by none other than...Sebastian from Kuroshitsuji! amusing. he came up with the idea of stuffing curry into a bun. for what reason? for the convenience of little children to enjoy e curry without having to use utensils! *throws confetti into e air* and to make his "godlike" curry that even beat that Indian butler's curry, he added, a bar of Phantomhive Dark Chocolate. hallelujah~ laugh die.

2. SPOILER ALERT (KUROSHITSUJI)

Kuroshitsuji is so packed with shounen-ai and yaoi (implied i guess) that a straight guy turns gay mid-way. welcome to the dark side, pal! XD let's just say it's because the girl he was chasing kinda ditched him. so he turned to none other than his butler! XDDD master x servant, banzai!!! it isn't Ciel and Sebastian I'm talking about =P that couple long ago together already mahhhh XDDDDD

3. steaming an egg may result in the egg disappearing from the plate. serious. my plate ended up empty after i steamed the egg. guess it kinda decided to drown itself in the water used to steam it...

4. seemingly docile Parrotfish (see image below) are really aggressive predators. we decided to fish up some guppies from the pond outside to rear in the aquarium inside, when to our horror (and my disgust) the guppies disappeared faster than my sister's dinner did. urgh. gross. there wasnt any apparent hesitation, as though the Parrot fish were used to eating live fish, even though we only fed them with fish food up till today. fish eating other dead fish i can barely stand, fish eating other fish live? urgh.

some stuff anna found out today when she lost her way (yesh again, for the blardy goodness-knows-how-many-th time). well that's not exactly true. she didnt remain lost for the whole time, she managed to recover her way (eventually). some tips that she'll like to share (listen and heed only if you're as hopeless at directions as she is, if not keep to your own way and you'll be safer yo)

1. Always. Always. Always, remember where you started from.
if you take public transport ie MRT. good for you. rights. say you forgot which way to walk from the MRT station, and say you still can't remember the way to walk after standing at the exit of the station gaping into the air in front of you, then how? you walk in a straight line.
2. Always walk in a STRAIGHT line. or a general straight-line direction.
one thing good about that, you'll always be able to find your way BACK. if liddat also cannot find your way back, then you better not got out alone. usually, after walking in a straight line, you might bump into something familiar or some landmark you might recognise, if so, good for you. if not, bad for you. nothing else to add.
3. Always trust your instincts.
never ever doubt your instincts. i did so today, and one helluva mistake was that. i shan't elaborate. if your instincts don't work, then close your eyes and walk. your instincts will start working and lead you on auto-pilot. if all of the above fails, then how? refer to point number 1.
4. Walk back to where you started from (which should be somewhat easy unless you didn't follow my instructions.)
one good thing about walking back to the start point, at least you're somewhere where you can
a) call some good friend who has a better/good direction sense for help (eg my laogong).
b) start wailing and some kind passerby may offer a helping hand.
c) bug the station control people for directions (which by right you should have done from the start but if you're like me, you wouldn't have)
d) go home and try again another day after you've checked the street directory.

note that these tips only apply if you're a greater road-idiot than anna is. if not, stick to your own way. it'd be safer for you. toodaloo.

anna ish one happy girl~ there are 6 reasons why~

1. she ate one absolutely delicious ice-cream which she thinks is a taste of heaven. it is the Magnum Ecuador Dark~~~ *dissolves into a puddle* the dark chocolate is to kill for. it's 60% cocoa btw~ XDDDDDD *floats into heaven* below is the packaging from the ice-cream, which she cant bear to throw away (but she did anw coz her mum was threatening to dump all the stuff in her room if she didn't throw it away), after the ice-cream has been demolished of course. dark chocolate fans, you have found salvation.

2. she finally got her beloved yogurt after torturous months of not eating it due to the melamine scare. no milk and no yogurt for such a long time was akin to stabbing her bishies. so anna ish happy that she can finally get her daily dosage of calcium by scoffing down more yogurt and milk XDDD not to mention that she finally managed to buy a bottle of Jap mayonnaise after talking about it for donkey years. and her sister kindly pestered mum to buy some Pate, which she gladly accepted XDDDDDD in other words, food glorious food for the next month or so~ XDDDDDDDD

3. she has $50 extra in her cashcard, courtesy of dad who kindly got tricked into topping it up, thinking it was mum's card ^^*V* kudos to him~ haha, she offered a bite of my wonderful ice-cream, but he declined, so she gave him she beef during dinner =P

4. she has finally figured out what to do with her balcony which has basically been left to rot ever since she moved into her room. now she has decided to use it to sun-dry her towels and clothes. in other words, her room is turning into a dormitory. how...exciting.

5. her mum has kindly agreed to buy her a metal bow, though she thinks mummy only agreed coz mummy doesn't know the price of a metal bow with all the add-ons included in. laugh die. oh well, she'll get her limbs from grandpa and grandma, riser from daddy and mummy, stabilizer from uncle fabs, sight from...etc. well, you get the idea. kind donations from various people would most probably make up her bow. ^^*V* "on the first day of Christmas my parents gave to me~ a riser with a clicker~ on the second day of Christmas my uncle gave to me~ a sight and a T-square~ etc."

6. she has finally figured out what present to get. amazingly, she has successfully bought it without too much delay haha. it will now reach its destination on time without a certain someone having to freeze. ^^ ~~not to mention she coincidentally has a matching one somewhere in her room~~...

one observation which has amused her greatly is this: while Listerine is supposed to help you combat plague and gum infections, it attracts ants. *raises eyebrows* how can something which combats tooth decay attract ants? how intriguing ^^

Allelujah Haptism and his split personality Hallelujah Haptism. lolz. some joke my laogong told me popped into my head. it goes smt like this: "i show my left eye (Allelujah), i am zai. i show my right eye (Hallelujah), i own. my ultimate attack, i show both eyes!" kay, for those who didnt understand, dont bother. jus another mad moment of mine. which are getting a little too frequent. lolz~

ANYWAY~ PW officially ends today~~~ haha! pats to my group mates who slogged their guts out~ enjoy the hols yar~ XDDDDD

and yupps. the title isnt wrong. i do love bats~ they're freaking cute! and i mean it. for those who think i'm weird, join the club, there's a waiting list though. lolz~ if you hate bats or if you're scared of them, i'd recommend watching Jeff Corwin. there's this episode in which he rescues a bat with an injured wing. my gosh, the bat looks exactly like a dog with wings! actually i think it looked like a Chihuahua, especially so coz of its long snout and big round eyes. bats arent harmful to humans at all, most of em jus eat fruits. Vampire bats are only going to be a threat to you if you're a cow or something. they never consume human blood haha. and those scary photos with them baring their teeth? go find a picture of a Pit-bull. i'm sure the latter is scarier. they dont fly into your face either. unless they're deaf, which doesnt happen too often. so to those who associate bats with vampires, think of the vampire as a bishie, then the bat will be just a cute doggy like Riiya. XDDDDD

haha. anw yar, i used to be freaked out by bats, coz one flew in to my grandparents' house when i was about 4 or 5, and i remembered quite a panic in the house since my grandparents were running around chasing some black shadow. they told me the next day that a Flying Fox flew in through the window and i got freaked out, coz i thought the bat was a fox with wings, and that would make it a very very big bat. (must understand that at that age, most things seemed huge to you lolz). anw yar, i was scared that it would fly back in and carry me away to eat or smt (watch too much fantasy shows edi).

it wasnt until recent years that i started liking bats. first was the Jeff Corwin episode, and that showed how tame bats can be~ also showed how cute they really are <3 it was jus hugging onto to Jeff Corwin and drinking milk from a bottle! *squeals* ahem anw yar, not too long after that, i was pulling out the weeds in the garden of my old house (before renovation that is) when i happened to look up at this Champak tree (a fragrant flower often used by Indians in their oil/flower garlands in case you're wondering) in my garden. i stared for a while. then ran off screaming in glee. there was this hollow in the foliage of the tree, making it look like somewhat a cave in the tree crown. and there, lo and behold, roosted a family of bats~ <3 anna was a happy girl then~ haha. i used to sit below that hollow in the tree and stare at the bats. cant remember if i managed to take any photos of them anot, i'll try to dig lolz. then when that tree was cut down for the construction of this house, i was pretty sad, coz i thought they bats would never come back, like that little owl that used to sit on the road sign outside our house. it was an adorable owl by the way, snow white in colour and no bigger than the letter it was perched on top of. <3 BUT! last week, i stood at the stairwell outside my room and i HAPPENED to look out to the mango tree in front of our house. there were many flying shapes darting in and out of the tree. at first i thought they were birds, then one of them flew by the lamppost. the bats were back~ haha a bigger brood this time round, and they cleared out the mangoes, much to the annoyance of my mum and uncle lolz. but anna ish once again a happy girl~ coz the bats are back~~~ <3 pity they dont live in the mango tree, if not i'd be posting snapshots by now haha. sho yupps~ when the mangoes are ripe, a whole army of bats would be flying right outside my window. and its a sight i love to see~ <3

snakes have also been old friends to occassionally visit my house. the first time i saw a snake was when i was roughly 5. or definitely before my sis was born. i was playing the garden (yesh i grew up in the garden), digging holes and plucking flowers as usual when i saw this bunch of white eggs. at first i thought they were lizard eggs, so i didnt really bother. it wasnt until a few days later that my maid started screaming about a snake in the garden that we realised they were a nest of snake eggs. haha sho cool. think my dad got rid of the eggs somehow or another, but i could i'd love to hatch those eggs. <3 imagine a whole family of snakes! XDDDDD then over the years, snakes generally caused panic in my house whenever they were spotted, mainly in drains and gardens and stuff. sadly, many of them were killed on impulse (T_T) though i doubt if any of them were venomous to begin with. but oh well, it's common error to kill a snake as soon as you see it. which is very regrettable. as luck would have it, the latest snake that wandered into our house happens to be a frequent visitor. (we deduced this from the burn scars it has due to our sprinkling of alcohol down the drain the last time we saw it). my dad managed to catch the snake alive and we kinda played with it a little. after an hour or so of research, with help from a good~ friend, the little snake has been identified as a Paradise Tree Snake.

i'll post some photos of it soon~ this post getting a little long lolz. it is venomous, and it'll kill you if you're a Gecko. lolz, if not the worst you'll get is a swollen finger. it's a really pretty snake~ <3 and surprisingly, it feels extremely soft to touch. abit like marshmallow maybe? it's not scaly at all, as i had originally thought. it was so smooth and soft it didnt feel like a snake. haha. i was shocked by it at first, coz i had just returned from archery prac on Sunday when my sis burst through the door uttering completely incoherent sentences (she does that quite abit) and my dad holding a jar while wearing gloves. i freaked out when i saw a snake was inside the jar, but after a while (quite a long while), i plucked enough courage to touch the snake, and i couldnt stop after that. it felt so vulnerable, such a small creature that really meant no harm. it was probably doing me a service by eating the lizards in my house. and to think jus a year ago, we would have killed this pretty snake without second thought. haiz. it's really cute, and apparently it likes to be pet on the head @@ haha~

snakes, like bats, are often misunderstood to be symbols of evil, bringing fear and terror whereever they go. but hey, they're really really cool animals that deserve respect too yar. imagine your entire body being a bundle of nothing but muscle, or being able to fly as a mammal. they arent simply pests to be killed at first sight ya know. of course, i'm not telling you to go kiss every single snake/bat you see, but dont start whacking it with a chair or smt. they're probably more scared of you than you are of them. jus let them quietly slither out the way they came in. aggrevating them into a panic would only make them disorientated and start running all over your house and even attack you. yes, some snakes are dangerous, like the King Cobra, but hello? you're in Singapore yar, King Cobras arent going to turn up at your doorstep unless your neighbour has been illegaly smuggling snakes in. so just chill and let them go kay. dont go around thinking that all snakes are dangerous, most of them only post a danger to you if you're a rat or lizard. think lah, snakes can be harmless too yar, just as dogs like Rottweiler can be deadly. be nice to snakes and bats kay~ they deserve love~ <3 and they're frigging blardy cute! <3 anna loves the pretty snake and the bats in her house. <3 i really should post some photos of the animals that have wandered into my house before. haha~ XDDDDD

one fine day, anna decides to watch something simple, something that does not require an ounce of brain power. she opens the crunchyroll webpage and sees a show she remembers from days long past. wanna make a guess? nope, not Pokemon. nah, not Magic Knight Rayearth either. if you guessed Sailormoon you're dead. give up? she saw the title: Akazukin Cha Cha. rolls over and laugh die.

lolz yupps~ i started watching Akazukin Cha Cha from the top! laugh die, thought i was bad enough when i rewatched Digimon and Digimon 02 up to the point when they started the Eng dub. but that's another story altogether. Cha Cha brings back...interesting memories lolz. like how i actually thought that Riiya was cute. well, he still is. =P i'll let the screenshots speak for themselves XDDDDD after i finish Cha Cha, i shall restart on Gundam. ^^*V*

Riiya~ XD haha one thing i loooove bout Akazukin Cha Cha is the kira-kira eyes of the characters. yeah, some people complain about the art being old-school or even ugly *bashes people up* but there is beauty in vintage kay. look at Slayers. look at some of the Digimon, Angemon anyone? they are pretty kay. even if there isnt pretty art, some of the storylines are wayyyy better than those we get today. =P

well of course it does, if not why would the shops and boutiques all over the island be making all the moolah? lolz, fortunately or unfortunately, i am guilty of it. using shopping to de-stress that is. =P well yar, not jus retail therapy, i think reading helps to alleviate stress too. interestingly, i havent picked up a single manga since promos ended (actually i haven't read manga way before promos started), neither have i watched anime or played psp/ps2 games. no~ i have once again regained my status as a bookworm. haha. i managed to fly through 3 books in a day @@ a feat that i havent done since my primary school days lolz. one on Chinese history, one Redwall and one Agatha Christie book. lolz~

anw yupps, back to retail therapy. now i post yet another tribute to my dear laogong~ haha. she, the almighty nice one, stayed to shop wt me~ sho nice right~~~ mind you, even my mum gave up shopping with me coz i'm so damn picky lolz. anw yar, we walked from erm...Ngee Ann City to Far East? lolz~ at first i was looking for a bag. after grueling hours of choosing, i bought a pair of shoes. and a bag yesh lolz. hahaha imagine having to stick wt my whining throughout the entire time *nods* shee me laogong ish e best~ *throws flower petals all over the place* hahah~ (too bad laogong, u blame me for being gross and soppy =P) sho yupps~~~ a tribute to my laogong who pei-ed me for the whole afternoon (though she did get her revenge by nearly killing me a few times, but that's beside the point =P) XDDDDD

rawr. freaking worm and insects. today was a rainy day for pesta again. pfft. halfway through the competition, the skies opened the floodgates on us. dang. it rained for more than 45 mins can. and it was heavy rain. zzzz. wtf. the entire field i was standing on was practically flooding. i was just wondering if i should shift to another spot just in case the worms decide to use me as a dry island for shelter... just as i was thinking back on the earthworm incident that just happened two three days ago, one of the archers suddenly pointed to my shoe with a shocked expression.

i looked down. and screamed.

argh, there was a centipede climbing on my shoe!!! rawr. lolz. yeah, i practically deafened all the people who were hiding in the tent. laugh die. but seriously it was gross. the entire field was overcrawling with centipedes *shudders* argh. well, not to mention that the rain made the field so muddy, it was like walking on sludge. urgh. yeah...lucky i have more than one pair of shoes, lolz. but no diff anw, coz tomorrow will rain. i bet all my money on that. it will rain tomorrow! laugh die. yar, sho there goes 2 pairs of shoes. lucky it's e sept hols. o~~~hohoho. kks, i go study edi. chiaoz~

argh. just the title alone gives me the goosebumps. pfffft. maybe i should recount the events of the whole day. lol.

kay lah, the early morning was great. basically coz i woke up early. so no rush. jus stroll around and yeah. happy! haha. lessons were okay too, i could do e questions blah blah. lunch was fun, food at RI was good. chem test was bad, coz i fell asleep lolz. seriously, lecture tests are badddd coz i always fall asleep during lecture tests. pffft. kay lah, then school ended. and the bad luck began. *cues sound of impending doom*

well, it was pouring, not that it should matter since there's a covered walkway behind the school that leads to a bus-stop. so i took that walkway, just like many others would have. well, only my shoes got wet, coz Singapore just floods, walkways are forever flooded. pffft. the next thing i knew, a taxi (comfort cab by the way) ZOOMED by, on the LEFT bloody lane. and guess wad. since Singapore's always flooded (so are the roads) the water in the puddle splashed up. hola. and who was walking on the pavement? me. hola. #$%@#$ and you know wad? that happened. three. bloody. times. *censors swear word* so wad was the point of me walking on the sheltered walkway? i could just have walked in the rain and there wont be a diff. pfffft. that's not all kay. in the half an hour i stood at that bus-stop waiting. many other people walked the same way. but NONE. grab this. NONE of them had e same thing happening to them. wtf. lolz. i know you're laughing. *smacks* pffft. i guess this is called bad luck lah. *shrugs* but that's just the start of it.

coz it was raining so heavily when i reached yishun, i decided to eat my lunch at sunplaza instead, and wait out the rain. lol. after lunch the skies cleared quite nicely, so i walked home from sunplaza, cutting through the estate that i usually walk through XD cause the rain just ended, the way home was nice and quiet, actually i was the only person walking through. laugh die. sho very nice to emo worh. hahahahahha. the worst thing. was when i crossed the road. the big big road after the big field. the whole pavement, was as usual. flooded. so i stared abit harder to figure out if there're any dry bumps i can step on, cause seriously, my feet were starting to bloat in my shoes after being soaked for like 2 hours. the gross part comes now. when i stared at the flooded pavement, something in the water moved. MOVED okay. then more and more started MOVING. bloody hell the ENTIRE PAVEMENT WAS SWIMMING WITH EARTHWORMS! *censors out string of curse words* my freaking goodness! i swear those earthworms were longer than my ruler can. *shudders* the entire stretch of pavement was literally swimming with earthworms, cause their field was flooded, so they swam out onto the flooded pavement. and they were huge. and bleached. i guess coz they've been soaking in the water for too long. but there were so many of them, i really couldn't bring myself to walk on that pavement coz i know i'd step on some of them. freaking gross. pffft.

so guess what, i crossed back to the other side of the road and walked along that pavement. then arh. when i was walking arh, i looked down. and saw something next to my shoe move. damn it. i looked a little further. the freaking entire pavement was swimming. with. baby. earthworms. *censors string of curse words* wtf lah. i ran back to the traffic light and just stood there. lolz. one side of the road, giant daddy-mummy earthworms. the other side of the road, hundreds of squirming baby earthworms. just great. where the hell do i walk? i took my chances. i ran, or literally bounced down the stretch with the baby earthworms, half-screaming as i ran along. *squirms* yucks. uber gross. zzz it still gives me goosebumps to think of how many earthworms i squashed under my shoe. urgh. freaking gross. haiz. yarr...basically that was it. *shudders*

not to mention that my phone line is still down, even though i called up the service provider, and they told me that they'll reset my line. *Shrugs* i guess i could do without at phoneline. just that whoever needs to contact me cant reach me. *shrugs* none of my business *runs off* o~~~hoho anna shall be uncontactable *gloats*

now this is a first. for the first time ever...i watch a show, and go "...wtf" within the first 10min of the show. the first episode of Tower of Druaga is a complete "wtf" episode lol. at first i thought it was a joke...but a 20min long joke is taking things wayyy too far...and btw, the idea of "oh it was a dream" is just so overused, it isnt even funny anymore...

lolz i dunno how the rest of the series will turn out...but jus after the first episode...i dun feel like watching it anymore...the only reason why i'm following would be because of Ishida Akira's role in the show. and the character had better not die. or i'd curse lolz. see how bah...for now...zzz i cant stand the concept. it's wayy too cheesey haha...even Gundam SEED Destiny started out better than this...as much as i'd hate to say that...lol

haha, these 3 days in Bangkok has been real funnnnn lol. though i didnt go to the night markets or stuff like that, we had our competition (points up) the Thailand Princess Cup held in guess where?! a shopping mall! haha, you can probably tell that i'm sugar high~=P

lolz~the shopping mall i'm at reminds me of Vivocity back in Singapore haha. it has like everything...from stuff that are real bargains to stuff that are as costly as they are in Singapore. but one thing that is forever cheaper over here is their...FOOD!!! oh food glorious food over here! haha, i havent eaten a single thing that tastes bad yet lol. i think Thailand is better suited to be called food city or smt along those lines...everything tastes good can lol. think i pretty much stuffed myself full here haha. if i return with a few more layers around my middle you can probably guess why lolz~~~

lolz~ too bad this trip is so short haha~ there're so many things to see around here...OTL oh well~~~ i'll make sure i come for the Thailand Princess Open 2010 hahah XDDDD then i'll stay longer and say more about this place haha!

^^ now that i'm out of my emo mode~~~ it's back to my hyper mode =P

jus a side comment, i went to climb mount faber yesterday, it was...fun...and erm...to whoever's going (for wad reason i dun want to noe) pls bring a hat along...and a portable air-con if u can...it's effing stuffy in there @@ and well, i wasnt exactly dressed for that kinda workout so...lmao be smart kay, it's like a short trek thru pulau ubin when u're not prepared =P surprisingly the steps were relatively steep, tho the trail was...luxurious compared to those we see in pulau ubin ^^ but i'd rather go ubin...more fun mah =P ooo and i took some nice photos of flowers XD shall post em later...when i feel like it =P ...kks back to the hyper part of it ^^

well~ first up is GP Common Test. *bleahz* that one pia can already lah... also dunno whether it's counted anot ==||| some ppl say yesh, counted; some ppl say no, not counted...wah the heck lah.

then would be the Sembawang Archery Open. yay~~~ spent my aftnn today spray-painting lines on the field. okay lah, mainly i was having fun ^^ so not that bad =P jus tt i darkened by about one colour tone liao lolz. think i'll darken by like 3 tones after all the competitions @@ start at 8am (i'll be down by like 7 i think) and end at 5pm earliest lolz...i'll become a roast duck =P *quack* let's see, with the number of competitions lined up, i think i'll be black by the end of june lolx.

Crisis Core and Skip Beat 18 reviews

well, once again, Skip Beat! has left me speechless with the progression of the storyline in book 18. lolz! i shall state this once again...NAKAMURA-SENSEI OWNS! lolz! well, for the benefit of Taicho, i shall review Crisis Core first, wait later u accuse me of spoilers =x lolz~~~

now, on to Crisis Core! XD this is arguably the first Final Fantasy game that i've fallen for so badly =x well, Final Fantasy X/X2 kept me busy for jus a while, but i never really liked them...(mainly coz the main character is...a girl?) lolz~ also, i had a major grudge against turn-based RPGs then, coz they jus took darn long to conclude =x (sorry to all turn-based fans out there...). now that Crisis Core utilizes real-time battle system, and the fact that it bears resemblance to Star Ocean, it rocks! lolz! the gameplay is addictive, the main character is cute and the fact that his eng voice actor is bearable makes the game a great one ^^ not forgetting the appearance of many familiar FFVII faces and bishies, this game does deserve it's 9.5/10 rating XD

the only grievance i have with Crisis Core is this. now, tell me, do the protagonists of RPGs die? no they don't. Cloud doesnt die, Tidus doesnt die, Yuuna doesnt die, heck, even Fayt from Star Ocean, Chris/Hugo/Geddoe from Suikoden and most of the RPG main characters i noe of DONT die...even in Anime and Manga, the main character is usually left with a few minor scratches etc...so why in the world did Zack die...*tears hair out* pffft. he died to save Cloud...zzz... well, not that it's a surprise, seeing as he appeared only as a phantom throughout the rest of the FFVII compilation series...but then again...it feels so...unfair that he has to die, especially during the game itself, in which he turns out to be a rather cute character who matures over time >< wad a waste...pffffft. and to think he was killed by low ranked-unskilled-useless-unknown Shinra soldiers...*mumbles in a corner* now, on to the review of Skip Beat 18! taicho, time to look away ^^

well, it is revealed that the guy Kyoko's been sent to look over is Ren's DAD! zomg. bishie father, uber bishie son!!! lolz! the guys is unbelievably young-looking...his son is already 20, and he still looks 20 himself =X lolz! Nakamura-sensei has a thing for old guys looking young (refer to Tokyo Crazy Paradise). come to think of it...Ren looks...older than his dad...*raises eyebrows* lolz...the only thing about book 18 is that it centers around Kyoko's interaction with Ren's dad (still dunno his name) and hence limiting the screen time Ren and Sho have (T_T). although for Sho, he has this reaaaaaaaaaaaally bishie picture...that's worth looking at over and over and over and over again ^^ he has obviously improved from his past image...now he looks more like an angel...*stares at picture* whatever happened to his bad-boy image?! lolz! well, overall comments for the book. 1. Sho is prettier now. 2. Kyoko's becoming cuter. 3. Ren's dad is enuf bishie power for one book, so Ren can take a break for now. (for now and now only) =x 4. a little too wordy, but well, it goes to show that Skip Beat isnt ur regular shallow romance manga. XD 5. Ren's dad is darn cute ^^

Blood+: Yakou Joushi links up Blood+ Adagio and Blood+, it records HAJI's time in Hong Kong, 1993 <3 rights, so after the Russian Revolution in Blood+ Adagio, Saya goes into a deeeeeeep sleeeeeep, leaving Haji...ALONE! >< being bored and lonely (i guess) he traveled the world with his beloved cello, playing the song that Saya taught him~ being so lonely...he searches for a "friend". he found that "friend" a police officer who thought that Haji was the culprit behind the bizarre murders in Hong Kong. so, after the mess was cleared up, the two became...attached to each other~~~ (more or less, judging by the way they intercepted claws and attacks for each other @@) well...after everything in Hong Kong was settled (go read e manga spinoff...i cant possibly say everything here), Haji senses Saya awakening~ and goes off back to Okinawa, where Saya is, leaving his "best buddy" in Hong Kong~ Haji finds Saya, and got back into his duty of blocking immense tree trunks for her and getting stabbed all over the place just coz she doesnt wanna fight (Saya bashing). he mumbles a little, complaining silently that at least his "best buddy" in Hong Kong would have shielded a few attacks for him. (LOL) at last, when the crisis is settled, and Saya goes back to her deeeeeeep sleeeeeep, Haji leaves a few roses here and there where she slumbers and skips happily back to Hong Kong where his "best buddy" waits~ roflmao...i noe i noe...it's simply wad i WISH would happen ^^ i guess Yakou Joushi might explain the great change in Haji, from Adagio to Blood+...Haji USED to smile, at least occasionally, but in the anime, he hardly does so...i guess the trauma left on him coz of the events of Yakou Joushi were too much huh. (^.~) but i kinda realised...if, IF Haji were gay...he'd be e best uke...look at him in Yakou Joushi...chained up~ and "abused" lol...in Blood+, he seems to like pain quite a bit...from the way he simply WALKS out of the pike that he was PINNED to a tree with...and he yanks knives out from the various parts of his body as though they were needles...lol a perfect SM uke partner eh...*V* which reminds me...since Saya has such a perfect Chevalier...why doesnt she treat him a little better...****** which then helps to justify my little story up there huh. okaaaaaaay so we (my laogong and i ^^ *lmao*) have a loooooong list of cosplay plans @@ *stares hard at list* erm...currently it's 5 costumes, but tt's enough to stab a big hole in our wallets (T_T).
still unsure of when we'd be doing them (either during Matsuri/Cosfest/End of Year), the costume tt tops my list is Misao! (fm Rurouni Kenshin) lol, i've done e big ribbon on her back already, now still hunting for my hair (T_T). next would probably be Rosette from Chrono Crusade bah...but e long dress is jus (X_x) for me...cant sew one-piece costumes for nuts lol. e other costumes in mind would be Da Qiao fm Sangoku Musou and lolita. *ignores Cha Cha plan*

lolz~ after reading taicho's blog...suddenly i felt like posting on mine too! lmao i bet it's coz her blog has e same layout as mine, though hers is chio-er~ rawr! well...if u must know, i've gotten over Granado (more or less) thanks to e increasing amount of botters and noobies appearing... so i'm back to my "normal life" XD

hmm...first month of jc life is...eventful? lots of new people, and i'm still not used to being sociable @@ when i finally got used to my class, i got transferred out...%^$%# and i didnt get into rj archery club $%^%$ pffft if i go on, i'd probably bitch about these stuff...so heck wt it lmao

have to say that jc life is a lot more fun...probably will get busy as e days go by, but at least i get to choose what i want to be busy with XD (more or less i guess) though i miss 406, i'm getting to like jc life quite a bit i guess~ only e fact tt i see a lot less of my laogong~~~ *laogong arh~~~* lol and there's less time for leisure/gaming/anime, manga can still fit in XD coz i read em when i hav free blocks without my laogong lol!

"Parfait-Tic" LOL, i jus randomly pulled it out and saw Hajime and Daiya on the cover...my mum had to pull me away lolz~ and rather surprisingly, i heard anime songs being played in shopping malls O.O

hmms, updates huh. well, i've just picked up the manga of Yakitake Japan! and it's pure crap, but it's super funny too XD. i strongly recommend it for all who need a dose of humour therapy, if u need laughter and happiness in your life, well, read Yakitake Japan for a change. ^^

if you want some gloom in your life *man, u're sad...* then u can try reading Count Cain by Kaori Yuki <3 class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_20">SHOUNEN-AI!!! whee!!! lolz, sorry, super hyper now, not enough sleep for the past 2 days, due to my excessive chionging in GE *struggles to catch up to Wolfram @WingedNight* lolz... yeah, back to Count Cain, the storyline is generally sad, Gothic and gloomy, but with so many EYE CANDY around, one can be cheered up too! ^^ hmms, i personally love the ending but i shall not divulge spoilers *feels angry glare of Wolfram behind* lest i be assassinated in the middle of the night. the main story is about Cain, a bishie who is "cursed" to have a sad, painful life, who fights against all odds to protect his happiness *according to me* XD. well, wonderful storyline, superb art *waddaya expect from Kaori Yuki sensei* yupps. i think i'm confusing people with my random inserts. i shall control the urge...

hmms, also new on my list is Samurai Deeper Kyo. i flipped when i heard the name "Sanada Yukimura" LMAO it sounded as though Sanada Genichiro and Yukimura from Prince of Tennis got married gahaha lolz~~~ oh well, bishies all the same *dances* XD go watch lar hor ^^ the storyline, basically i prefer the manga, as usual, BUT for the artwork, i'd rather watch the anime ^^ a lot nicer and stuff yar XD

your wonderful 3rd seat has also taken up e post of secretary. so yeah. taicho and i were discussing our picnic plans on e way home, so here are the details and the menu. =P
we would most likely have two different picnics, one in school next wed (during my 7hr interval) and one prob on the next wed at Botanical Gardens. ehs, we would prob be going out on Tue to either Takashimaya or Plaza Sing to buy the ingredients etc. kk, here's the menu, though we shld prob decide what to eat when, i dun think we can finish all e food in one session, unless we like starve for the day before.

New House...

hello! i'm *not so* glad to announce that i've moved to my new house. it's just across my old one. *applause* whoa. rights, so i'm back to where i've spent 13 years of my life. hoola. the house isn't quite ready, even up till now. when i officially moved in last saturday, there was NO: aircon, water heater, kitchen, fan, curtains, phone line, food and clothes. how did i manage to live? i dunno. now, i've just gotten my fan and aircon, so yeah! my bed's done, my tv's in (though it's not connected), my internet's up, so at least it's live-able. =) i'll post some photos of the view from my window, but i dun think i'll post photos of my room...jus maybe sections of it...=P

ah, i realised i haven't said anything about e game i've been playing for quite some time...Granado Espada. ehhs, the graphics are uber cool, the characters are great too...it's jus that i'm not made for computer gaming, coz there are too many keys to press. hah, i'm a born ps2 person who can only handle 14 buttons. ^.^ well yeah, tt kinda results in my characters dying out really quickly...>.< but yeah, it's a nice game and it gets more interesting as u level up. trust me, the first 20 levels or so are to get u used to the game, so it's pretty boring...hah, woflram and i had quite a bit of fun playing wt e poses and our characters, so i'll post the picts over at my picture blog. hah.

ehhs, i'll update more when my exams are done. and when i have enough sleep.

NEW Gundam Series!!! Gundam 00

okaay, so i found out about this like 2~3 months later than most Gundam fans, but hey, Gundam series don't make it to headline news kae...they should have this anime newspaper which we can subscribe to...anyway, that's beside the point.

the point is that, well, the new Gundam series looks promising, the storyline is not disappointing and as usual, they tackle 'real' human problems. smt about the depletion of resources. the only complain i have is that there are no Athrun look-alikes....since the character design is done by someone else...it looks rather...i dunno, it felt like Bleach to me...but the character design is done by the mangaka of Loveless. *Wolfram, are u reading this?* so maybe, just maybe there might be BL pairings? i dunno, Gundam SEED had *suggested* BL pairings so...hmm...

the art definitely has a more adult feel to it, and the Gundams seem to have improved...luckily, there's no sign of Turn-A-Gundam art in this one, so phew. seems like there'll be less fangirl action in this new one with the more serious tone of the show and less eye candy in it...compared to Gundam SEED/Destiny, that is...

the series is premiering in Oct 07, so the wait's not too long...though it'll take an eternity to get to Singapore...at least it's after my exams, so yeah man, the quest will be on. =) apparently, there was word of some Gundam SEED movie coming out in Dec 07, but well, since they put a stop to the 2nd sequel of Gundam SEED (Gundam SEED Eternity, or smt like tat), there's a danger they might kill the movie off too...though they'd better not...reason's tt the 'old' generation didn't like Gundam SEED. *bang* us fangirls like it, so shoo. hmph. 'twill be nice to see a satisfying ending for Athrun and Cagalli, they didn't end that pairing properly...boos...

whoots, i kinda realised as i was reading my past entries that i didn't really get down to introducing Kyou Kara Maou properly. hmph, that's a bad thing. haha, though the storyline is so crappy, that well, there's not much to say. bahhss...rights.

Kyou Kara Maou, is about Shibuya Yuuri, aka Harajuku Furi. who saw his classmate, Murata Ken being bullied. he kinda helped out and in the end, he was bullied. ehhs, e bad guys dragged him to a female toilet, and he got flushed down the toilet bowl. literally.

he finds himself in a field of flowers, which was nothing like the toilet he was in. then he meets people. then he meets CONRAD!!!! on a horse!!!! maus!!! yeah, well, blah. next he meets Gunter, purple-haired bishie. then he finds out that he's the KING of Shin-Makoku. btw, that's the name of the country he's in.

he gets escorted back to the Blood Pledge Castle, and meets his soon-to-be fiancee, Wolfram. who happens to be, a guy. no correction. a BI-SHOU-NEN. pretty boy. yeah. ehhs, sooner or later, he gets the Maken, Morgif, his sword, which happens to be a weird looking sword that makes funny noises.

i kinda should stop here, coz if i go on any further, it'll be considered spoilers, and KKM has so little to spoil as it is...so yupps, go watch/read synopses if you're lazy. but trust me, it doesn't take much brain juice to watch it.

ehhs, on a side note, the seiyuu, or voice actor for Yuuri, has also voiced the following characters: Kanda Yuu from D.Gray Man, Cloud Strife for FFVII, Yamazaki Susumu for Peacemaker Kurogane, Sasame for Pretear, Haruka for Tactics, and Morgif in Kyou Kara Maou. hehs, i jus can't imagine...Morgif and Kanda...hmms...

whoots, and well, Conrad's seiyuu, voiced Tyki Mikk in D.Gray Man, Tatsumi in Yami no Matsuei, Sephiroth in FFVII, Naraku in Inuyasha and Kimimaro in Naruto.

hahhss...50 days seems sooooo far away...i highly doubt if i can get through in one piece. haiz, now that my life is in boxes, and the new house doesn't look as though it's going to finish anytime soon, i'm missing many things. baaahhs, my manga and anime are packed into boxes, my books are in boxes, so now i stare at the wall in my free time. hah. how fun is that. and the worse it probably that i've lost my cloth...how to make cosplay costume for racial harmony day without cloth? bahhs, rights, ignore the rants and the crappy grammar. i shall try to review stuff now.

ehhs. everyone should know about the live earth concert rights? if u dun know, which dwarf planet have you been living on??!! anyways, Abington Boys' School performed at the concert!!! whee, and for those who have no idea who Abington Boys' School is, you really need to start refreshing your information, coz they have people from T.M. Revolution. if you dun know who TMR is, then *bang*. well, TMR sang INVOKE, Ignited, Thunderbird, vestige and METEOR for Gundam SEED/Destiny, ABS sang Innocent Sorrow for D.Gray Man and Howling for Darker than BLACK. so yeah, they've been in the market for quite some time already. hehs, anyways, jus go watch their concert on www.liveearth.msn.org i think that's the address.

rights, updates on manga. ehhs, Tsuki no Shippo. it looked rather dumb and pointless at first, but now the storyline is getting interesting. i guess the first part was mainly for introduction and the setting of the scene for the main story. i have to say that the bishies are really quite cool and droolable, though can u imagine that the guys actually look prettier than the main female character? baahs, and that guy happens to be the bishie both taicho and me crush. ahaha. wells, he is cool but a little...oh never mind.

updates on anime...ehhs, i've been watching MONSTER for quite some time, and it's a really cool show. fine, the art isn't like whoa, but the art style fits in perfectly with the theme and mood of the story coz it's like a rather dark anime, so there's isn't much colour or happiness in the show. for those who don't want spoilers on the plot, dun highlight the following text. SPOILER ALERT:

arhhs, the main character is this neurosurgeon Tenma, who's life is rather perfect coz he's the favourite 'pet' of the director of the hospital, and since he's a genius neurosurgeon, he's soon on the road to success as he engaged to the daughter of the hospital director, and soon due for a promotion. however, while he was about to operate on a boy who had been shot in the head, the director ordered him to operate on the mayor, who had promised to grant the hospital huge subsidies if the operation succeed. Tenma hesitated on this, and decided to operate first on the boy as he had entered the operating theatre first. as a result of this, the boy miraculously survived but the mayor died. the blame was pushed onto Tenma, and in one day, his life turned upside down. his fiancee ditched him, and he was passed over for a promotion. however, the boy he had saved disappeared from the hospital with his twin sister. that night, the hospital director, the chief surgeon and others who had stood in the way of Tenma were murdered with poison sweets. Tenma managed to regain his position in the hospital once again, being promoted to the position of Chief Surgeon.

though nobody could solve the murders, the Inspector suspected Tenma as he was the only person who benefited from the murders. Nine years later, the boy Tenma operated on re-appeared...as a murderer and a monster. Tenma resolved to kill this monster which he himself had saved. it turns out that this little boy had led a 'revolution' at the age of ten...so yeah, that's as far as i got. hah, go watch, it's quite cool, though it somehow reminds me of psychopaths, or ppl like Hitler...

arghs, i have some other manga to introduce, but i can't remember the english name so aiyah, next time lah. =) jya. ganbatte for the exams. =)

HAH. it's been 1 year and 2 months since book 5!!! heh. though tt's not as long as X or Spiral Alive...it's really bad being deprived of Rimudo for an entire year. sighs. i'm gonna stalk Comics Connection till i see the book, then i'd probably squeal the building down.

oh yeah, and we're doing Genbu Kaiden for our Racial Harmony Day!!! heh. hopefully, we can pull it off. it's either two guys and one girl or all three guys...hmm. rimudo x takiko x tomite? rimudo x tomite x hikitsu? mauuu....

hmm...i realised tt as i was planning for my ss paper, i was actually quoting for Gundam SEED. to think that anime can teach stuff as boring as globalisation. is that good or bad? right, school work is bad, anime is good. hooray!!! nah, actually, the fact that i was quoting fm Gundam made it easier for me to remember, though i was kinda like smiling to myself rather freakily during the paper...

ah! i just found out tt some songs fm Gundam SEED Destiny are sung by e same person who sang Tsubasa songs...right, i know i'm slow. there's this song tt plays when the ORB-01 Akatsuki Gundam comes out, it's by FictionJunction, who sang some Tsubasa song. heh. speaking of which, i think all e songs that play when Gundams come out actually reflect e pilot's feelings or e situation at that time. like Meteor by TM Revolution plays when the Meteor unit appears. or vestige kinda reflect Kira's philosophy about fighting. Honoo no Tobira shows Cagalli's renewed strength kinda stuff. ahh...Gundam songs are soo nice...

well, Japan has invented the world's first real Gundam. nono, it's not the 18m fighting machine that we (all) love in Gundam SEED. it's a human sized (same ht as us lah) 'robot' or mechanical suit that can be donned and would allow the wearer to lift up to 10 times the weight he usually can. cools huh. well, i guess the world in which Gundams are used to help humankind is not too far away then. *starry eyed* can you imagine 18m Gundams helping out at construction sites? hmm...even better, take the world's fastest transport, by letting Freedom carry you to your destination. ahh...wat a world. =P

okeee dokee. as you would have noticed by now, i changed the template of my blog. fine, it's still a boring default template, but i think it's nicer now, coz the beautiful coloured pictures can jump out from the black background and into your minds as eye candy. hmm...yupps. by the way, my dead blog, ::bishounen heaven:: is officially reopened and well yeah, let's just say there're tons of eye candy over at that side. =P

all these pictures are from Cantarella, a manga that is currently still ongoing. yeah, if you can't tell from these pictures, the manga is super super yaoi. don't say i didn't give warning kae. but the guys are super super bishie lah...hey, i think they outshine the bishoujyous...dots. watever lah. i shan't give spoilers but the costumes should say something about the story setting rights...anyways, the costumes are really elegant and the art is really good. heh, as trivia, the author stays near the Takarazuka theatre, so yeah, i guess that's where all the beautiful characters and costumes come from. no lah, to be fair, the author actually went to Italy to research on the material she needed for the manga. yeah man, go manga-ka!!! oh, and one of her manga is actually based on a Takarazuka Revue play, so Wolfram, are you interested now?

well, what a straightforward title. =P isn't that good?

rights. i've just completed my attachment at IMCB, yeah...sad to say i've only found ONE anime fan there. how pathetic...goes to show what a slacker i am compared to the rest of them muggers there. rights.

o yeah. manga and anime updates. let's start with Air Gear. i have to say the battle between the two was a little disappointing, coz i kinda expected more. but the "coordinator" girl was really cool man. heh.

Bleach is getting really really dry...bahhhh...nothing much to say other than that.

Cat Street is really angst now, but it's really nice. i like the way the author potrayed the main character. but i love the computer pro to bits. he's really really sweet. mau...reminds me of Hanazawa Rui. =P

D-Gray Man should be coming out anytime soon, but the story so far is way cool. i kinda have to say that it's much better than Full Metal Alchemist despite the similarities at the start. Ravi is sooo cool, not to mention the new Innocence Allen just got which makes him look like Hitsugaya. ~mauuu...

New on the list would be Bisco Hatori's old work: Sennen no Yuki. by the way, Bisco Hatori is the manga-ka of Ouran Koukou Host Club. eh...i don't know if the old work is on hiatus, but i kinda pray it's isn't coz...it's on vampires!! YEAH! wait a minute, what's with this current trend of vampires and draculas??!! there's a vampire in D-Gray Man, Sho was potrayed to be a vampire slayer in Skip Beat, there's vampires and slayers in Vampire Knights, and Dracula's history is re-written in The Historian. hmm...they're nice and cool...coz they...suck blood?? what a weird obssession i have...bahh... nvm then. by the way, this Sennen no Yuki has two main guys fighting over a girl (who does not look too much like Haruhi), but the guys look like Kyouya and Tamaki [JESS are you reading this? i don't think so. but never mind X.x].

and also new is the Ryu no Hanazawari. something about this dragon having two fiances coz one was thought to be dead a few years back. but he isn't so now there's this fight between the two fiances. ehh...quite nice lah, rather entertaining too, despite how the girl looks (she looks like a cat on the cover page), but don't worry, she looks more normal in the book itself. so yupps.

oh and most importantly. SKIP BEAT 15!!!! for those who don't want spoilers, don't read lah...(caution to Jess unless you have read. which i think will take a decade)(highlight to read)
MAU MAU MAU MAU MAU!!! that's how nice it is...ohohoho. it's now SHO vs REN vs Vie Ghoul (VG). though VG merely serves as a intermediate step towards the development of Sho, Ren and Kyoko triangle. kinda sad, coz they look rather decent lah. i have to say. *drools* and Sho is getting really likable, so cool and yet so possessive of Kyouko. MAU MAU MAU. but i still find REN to be the best. nvm, REN give Kyouko, i can have SHO. ohohohoho!!
hmm, there're really super eye candy scenes of both Ren and Sho, so yeah man. this rawks. ohoho. Sho is starting to realise that *gasp* Kyouko is still really important to him, and well, Kyouko is subconsciously pushing Sho to do his best, even though she says that this is to defeat him in the future. well, yeah, Ren gets sooo worried about Kyouko that he rushes through his work to meet up with her. sigh. words cannot possibly describe the wonderful scenes. *drools* mauuu...i sure hope Skip Beat goes into the 30 range. i won't mind TWENTY more books of Sho and Ren and other eye candy. heh. (who would possibly mind??!! *bang*)

sorry, i know i'm posting less and less frequent, and the titles of my posts aren't getting any smarter. but well...

here are just some updates, mainly on what i'm currently reading/watching right now. don't hope for detailed analysis here, i'm just listing the titles. analysis...hmm, maybe later.

1. D.Gray Man (i'm reading the manga, anime is said to be nice. currently on my to-watch list. manga is out till book 9, though i saw book 10 in jap...mau...)
2. Hanazakari no Kimitachie (reading the manga, finished it already. hoping for an anime that won't spoil the manga, like what the Taiwan drama did. sorry, fans of Taiwan drama, it ruined the manga. yurusanai.)
3. Kekaishi (reading the manga. the ppl are a little more than round, they look like rice balls (the really circular ones) though the story is rather interesting. don't ask me why)
4. Get Backers (watching the anime, hesitating if i should read the manga...it's sooooo long...love the chibi moments and the gay moments. hate the opening song...and the slow bit torrent rate...)
5. D.N.Angel (watching the anime, want to get the manga, once i have enough money $$. love ISHIDA AKIRA's voice and OKIAYU RYUUTAROU's voice. love Dark Mousy, can't stand Daisuke)
6. Skip Beat (loving the manga, praying for a good anime. REN is drool'able'...SHO is squeal'able'...mau...i want to read it quick...)
7. Prince of Tennis (finished the anime...waiting to get the OVA. love the gay action. haha)
8. Dear (really cute chibi, love the cool guys. reading the manga, hoping the anime won't turn out like Fruit Basket)
9. Naruto (more or less given up on the anime coz of the fillers. trying to get hooked back)

well, not tat i have anything important to say...just that since there are people who actually read my blog, i might as well update it. heh, i know, i've been lazy...either that or i've been busy...and i haven't gotten my cosplay pics posted. yet. well, well, i should now update on the rather recent anime, manga and cosplay news

well, our next big cosplay event would be on the 18th of November, on a flag day. so if u see ppl parading in costumes and selling flags, it'd probably be us. toe and i are doing Gaara and Temari, while Jess and Yadi are doing two *gay* brothers from Sailormoon...so well...anyone who is interested, jus tell me and i'll put your name down for the event. phew, Gaara and Temari...huge weapons, cool costumes...i'm so gonna die making the props and costume for Temari....and her hair is soo....interesting...oh nvm, i shall die later then.

oooo, Tsubasa's anime is out!!! whoots!!! i love the songs and the soundtrack, though it can be a little dry coz there aren't enough fight scenes. the plot sticks rather closely to the manga, so no surprises in the storyline. i think the artwork is rather good, jus that the plot is too dry and the seiyuus are not hyper enough...

bk 14 of Skip Beat came out!! it's really very very cool!!! ahahahah REN!!!!

anyways...there isn't much to say.

and the last piece of good news i leave you with: Artemis Fowl Book 5 is OUT, and oya, if u are free, go catch The Triangle on Star Movies this saturday at 6. it's super cool. believe me. i've watched it 3 times already.

for the first time since i started this blog, i shall dedicate this entry to my library junior, Ilisa!!! hoho!!!
heh, she's actually more experienced than me, since i only joined library this year, but well, one year older is still a year older. hohohoho.
heh, since she's soooo nice as to dedicate a post to me, i shall do the same and sing her praises one by one!!!
reasons why she is a wonderful junior:
1. she's super nice, and i really mean super nice for a junior
2. she doesn't mind talking to (nice) seniors, (as in she's not scared of us) bohahahahaha
3. she keeps this lonely senior company (sniff, how noble of her)
4. she's funny
5. she knows that she is egoistic and is perfectly happy with that
6. she prides herself for being taller than me *ahem, watch who you're calling a tiny bean sooo small that it cannot be seen even by an ant* (haha, does tt sound like a certain blonde alchemist)
7. she actually says that she misses me (whoa, dun worry, we're both straight...or at least i know i am...hohoho)
8. she has that happy aura about her....like u cannot get sad around her....smt to tat extent lah
9. she likes Yachiru
10. SHE LIKES ANIME, AND THEREFORE SHE'S MY FAVOURITE JUNIOR!!!!!

cosplay!!

hoho, well, that was my first cosplay experience and well, it was fun! whee. well, bleach was rather easy to cos, for a first-time cosplayer like me, so well, it wasn't that bad after all, though all the spare threads were hanging all over the place...

hmm, Jess was Byakuya ^^, Yadi was Momo and i was Rukia, a rather odd triangle if i shld say so...hmm, we tried to pick safer characters, or our hair would have ended up like the guy at cineleisure who was *trying* real hard to pull off Hitsugaya. hoho, that was funny alright. but i guess our costume was rather well used, coz we wore it for racial harmony day, then for cosplay on saturday, and i think again on the 5th of August for the competition. well, not too bad now.

sigh, now i feel like sewing up Athrun's uniform for fun...drats. fine, i shall elaborate on cosplay when i have the pics, coz i need some inspiration...

and back to anime news. whooo!!! i love the Ouran Koukou Host Club anime!!! but why....is everything...so PINK?!(even the clock tower is pink!) hoho, the art is really cute though, and the storyline is always light-hearted and fluffy(?) but well, of course there is a whole bunch of bishounens that makes up for the lack of seriousness (?) hoho. and the over-enthusiasm of the bishies is covered over by the lack of it in our heroine, which is really really funny. hoho. whee. and it's prob more suited for depressed ppl who want some sugar in their lives...coz it's really a diabetic show...even the op theme is soooo sweet and sugary...hoho.

and well, i get to complete my naruto collection (finally...) and guess where the missing boxes were available?? Tenchi comics...dots. at northpoint of all places. hmph. and well, the lateste installment is out too! with Itachi on the cover. hoho. whee, more bishie action with Neji fighting. hoho. sorry bout the rotten english here, i'm still trying to get my brain back to life...whee.

now thanks to the cosplaying, and my dear friend jess, i'm currently supporting the Byakuya and Rukia pairing...hmm. bah, i thought i preferred Renji and Rukia or Kaien and Rukia. o well. nvm...i shall update when i have more news...

whee, MORE Gundam SEED!!! hoho. there's a new movie for Gundam SEED in the making, and it's the first original story Gundam movie since MS Gundam F91 in 1991. hahaz. hopefully, there's more footage of Athrun. whee. wt 1 sequel, 2 OVAs, 2 movies and another upcoming motion picture, SEED sure has appeal huh. i guess coz there are more screaming fangirls (like myself) who like the Fruits Basket fans, jus keep asking for more, more and more. whee.

talking about Fruits Basket, the story is getting super depressing, and well, the gloom of it all seems pretty well-planned. the storyline now seems much much more complicated, and the author does seem to have planned pretty deeply into the story. though some of the art has been sacrificed, i do think the plot is worth following now that the characters are more matured and the storyline getting too dark for it to be a shoujyo manga. well, the typical kinds are definitely more cheerful and "pink" if u know wadd i mean.

and i do believe CLAMP has yet another new project. hmm, i shall see if this one is worth reading. ja.

well, i don't think this is new, but well. Busou Renkin is now an ANIME! hah. the guy sounds...rather gay...nvm, i jus like heard two words fm him. "BUSOU RENKIN!!!" so maybe it was those two words that sounded gay. hahaz. the art and animation looks good though, so maybe it's worth a shot. the trailer is available online, though it's a rather short one, well, at least it has a trailer, GUNDAM SEED Stargazer didn't even have a trailer...boo...

and hahaha. to all those YUKI fans out there, HAH. tohru has chosen KYOU!!!! whee, i like that. though it was pretty much expected since the start, it is now official. hohoho. now that the author has decided, no matter how much u hate it, it's a fact, and the best u can do is to start alternate pairing. haha. whee. that's one good news.

and i think i'm really really hooked onto Naruto now. even the song GO!!! has me hooked. hahaz, many new obssessions this time, with Pirates of the Carribean 2 coming out and new artbooks for my beloved anime, i guess that means more, bigger, holes in my poor wallet. i shall, must, will restrain myself from buying Wild Adapter. i must...i will...bah. i hope i can. hoho. going back to Naruto, the only thing that i want to know now is the identity and background of Yondaime Hokage. with that, i shall rest in peace. hah, his name is the most important, coz with a name, i can fangirl!!! whee, that was dumb, but how do u fangirl without a name?! try lah, hah, see how u stand it. bah.

and well, nothing is coming out for the time being, i guess the authors all went on holidays huh. not even a hint of the book hitting the shelves at all, stuff like Skip Beat and Genbu Kaiden are really really slow now...and they're not the only ones. bah.

perhaps i should update my bishounen list and supported pairings while waiting for them to be out...3,2,1...eh where arh?!

well, there goes the nice June hols. hah. i worked my PS2 rather hard this month, so well.

hmm, is it just me or is it that the shelves in comic connection and other vcd shops are always 'empty' of new series until the end of the hols?! i hardly had any new updates in that area. hmm, then on the first day of school, Vampire Knight bk 3, Tsubasa bk 14, and the Gentlemen Alliance bk 3 came out. bah. piss me off.

Naruto box 9 also made its honourable appearance on the shelves. hah. i watched like boxes 1 to 5, then jumped to 7, went back to 6 and skipped to 10. now i'm on box 9. so pathetic, the story is in pieces. bah. okaay. now, i think Itachi is rather cool. whee. oh and i sorta thought that Naruto and 4th Hokage looked kinda alike, so i went to check it out and found that the two speculations ppl have about their relationship is either the 4th being Naruto's father or that Naruto is the 4th's reincarnation or smt liddat. how fun. but i doubt Naruto would ever grow up to become as cool as the 4th. hah.

and i found out that Gundam SEED Destiny Astray and Gundam SEED Destiny: The Edge is out!!! whee, The Edge tells the story from...ATHRUN's point of view. man, finally they appreciate him as the main character. hah.

and well, i just collected another 3 mechas. well, i bought one new one and fixed up my other two. so now i have a total of 6 gundam models. whee! hmm, i have Strike Laucher Pack, Freedom, Strike Freedom, Justice, Savior and Providence. hmph, why isn't there Infinite Justice available? bah. and guess what, i found a full-size ZAFT uniform in comic connection. hah, i practically screamed when i saw it kae. it was sooooo cooool. but it cost like $120. hmph. if i had $120, i'd rather buy more manga. that does it. i shall make my own, which would probably never exist on this earth, coz i'd never get down to making it. bah.

yawn, now i wanna sleep. hmm, maybe i'd post the lyrics of my new fav song before i sleep. if i can find it that is.
