hmm, after a rather interesting 'converstion' with one of my classmates (huge CLAMP fan, >.<, go figure who^.^) about some never-before-heard 'spider-web' relationships between the characters of a few series *ahem* which i dun think one post would sufficently cover, this really interesting point was brought up. nah, scratch that, this really interesting name was brought up.
make a guess, o well, nvm, it was Akazukin Cha Cha! hohohohohoho. that sure brings back *fond* memories of days not to long ago. ahaha, sorry, but this still cracks me up, "Love, Courage and Hope!!!" hahaz. can't help but laugh. 3 seasons of 3 little kids; one red, one blue and one green; running around and saving the day, and one very often useful teacher with the green hair with an unusual fondness for a talking doll so affectionately named Dorothy, one soceress with a tall purple hat walking around in a puffed-out purple dress, so obessed with beating the afore mentioned teacher...man, what a interesting line-up of characters. and the story just gets better and better. hahaz, i guess when Akazukin Cha Cha was showing on tv oh-so-many years ago, all you people who watched it deny of having ever seen such a 'stupid' show. but hey, it was good while we were kids obviously bored by power rangers or ultraman, so we turned to the next best alternative, anime. hahaz, what a transition! whee.
hmm, how should i put it. no matter how we (or i) try to deny it, shows like Sailormoon, Akazukin Cha Cha, Crayon Shin-Chan and all these super simple 'cartoons' are still what we strong defend as ANIME. hmm, how interesting. the 'growth' of anime through the years...
from Astroboy to Akazukin Cha Cha and Sailormoon, then Magic Knight Rayearth and CardCaptor Sakura, then Slam Dunk and Slayers, One Piece and Inu Yasha, then Saiyuki and Fushigi Yuugi and all the other movies like Spirted Away and such, to Full Metal Alchemist and Bleach and Naruto and Rurouni Kenshin, then for all the die-hard Gundam fans and more intriguing ones like Tactics and Hellsing and Peacemaker or Trinity Blood. hoho. very interesting shows. hmm...now i know what my plans for the June holidays are.
with the progression of anime from kiddish to chim-ish, our (or at least my) idea of a bishounen changes too. hahaz, how fun, laughing at my past crushes...let's see, from the rather cute Lea from Akazukin Cha Cha to the cool-dude Yamato in Digimon, (and no, i don't watch Sailormoon, Astroboy and Crayon Shin-Chan), thoughtful Eagle in Magic Knight Rayearth, soft in the inside Touya and cute Yukito from CardCaptor Sakura, to cool Rukawa in Slam Dunk and equally cool Zelgadis in Slayers. 'hunky' (?) Ace from One Piece and ice-cold Sesshoumaru from Inu Yasha. Hakkai from Saiyuki and nearly half the guys from Fushigi Yuugi (and definitely Rimudo-sama if the anime EVER appears, which i'm pretty sure it would). Roy from FMA, Byakkuya and Renji form Bleach, Kakashi from Naruto and AOSHI-sama from RK (all of whom are super uber cool) hoho. ATHRUN from Gundam SEED/Destiny, Susumu from Peacemaker...man, the list is long enough already. hez. guess i should categorize them huh. man, that will take forever too. nvm then, i shall try. soon. i. hope. tata.
